Omega’s teaching faculty includes career recording, live sound and production engineers; MIDI/synthesis operators; an entertainment attorney; maintenance technicians; experienced recording musicians; a studio design consultant and lecturers representing record retailing, publishing, radio station operation and artist management each of whom competes daily in the fields of sound engineering, production and music business. Your interaction with these professionals will help prepare you to work effectively with the musicians, producers, performers and business associates who may, sometime in the future, seek out your special talents to help make their creative endeavors a success.
Facilities, Services and Procedures
The Omega Studios’ School functions within the facilities of the Omega Recording Studios. This multi-studio complex has been a fully operational professional recording studio business since 1968. You will learn on the same equipment used by our engineers at Omega Recording Studios.
Licensing and Accreditation
The Omega Studios’ School of Applied Recording Arts and Sciences is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology, is approved by the Maryland Higher Education Commission, and is approved for Veterans’ Benefits.
